amazing book， im super excited to continue reading the rest of George’s book。the beginning of all 3 stories are hard to get into， personally， but once you do， you’ll end up loving everything。we here， too， see a pattern of expectations going to hell， and all of your theories ending up not true but thats what i loved。

Season 8 soured me from this universe but the hupe for House of Dragons have pulled me back in。 Re-reading this has made me remember how amazing Martin's world and writing is。 Easily one of the best series。 Dunk and Egg tales is a bit shorter， more light version of the main series but it's easily as good。 I only wish we had more。 I guess that's for the main series too。 Season 8 soured me from this universe but the hupe for House of Dragons have pulled me back in。 Re-reading this has made me remember how amazing Martin's world and writing is。 Easily one of the best series。 Dunk and Egg tales is a bit shorter， more light version of the main series but it's easily as good。 I only wish we had more。 I guess that's for the main series too。 。。。more

Faz um bom tempo que não acompanho nada relacionado com "As Crônicas de Gelo e Fogo" mas esta coletânea de 3 contos sobre um cavaleiro andante e seu escudeiro conseguiu reavivar meu interesse sobre o universo e ficar bem empolgado em retomar a saga principal de onde parei。 Longe de ser uma obra-prima ou meu preferido entre os outros do autor pois pude prever a maior parte dos acontecimentos daqui embora o mesmo se esforçasse em causar grandes reviravoltas， porém mesmo assim ainda conseguiu me de Faz um bom tempo que não acompanho nada relacionado com "As Crônicas de Gelo e Fogo" mas esta coletânea de 3 contos sobre um cavaleiro andante e seu escudeiro conseguiu reavivar meu interesse sobre o universo e ficar bem empolgado em retomar a saga principal de onde parei。 Longe de ser uma obra-prima ou meu preferido entre os outros do autor pois pude prever a maior parte dos acontecimentos daqui embora o mesmo se esforçasse em causar grandes reviravoltas， porém mesmo assim ainda conseguiu me deixar preocupado com seus personagens e me animar bastante durante suas sequências de ação。É uma obra que indico fervorosamente， em especial para quem se encontra na mesma situação em que eu estava quanto a série ou até mesmo para quem não viu nada antes pois a considero também uma ótima introdução ao mundo de Westeros。 。。。more

If I could I would give this piece a four and a half stars。 Take a classic medieval novel， with duels， trips do kingdoms， medieval jousts， noble intrigues， and add the excellent described mistic of Game of Thrones， all in one book。 This book， which its not as big as I wanted it to be， explores more of the Seven Kindgoms， its people， the poor， the rich， and give voice to real problems than the Game of Thrones could。 Excellent work！

This was a blast。 It’s been so long since I read any of ASOIAF that I forgot what a great writer GRRM was。 The stories were awesome， Dunk is everything a good knight should be， and Egg is a perfect foil for him。 I loved all the tidbits of the world that are strewn into these three short stories， but all three had great plots and twists and turns as well。 A must-read for any fan of the series。 The illustrations were great too。 Very enjoyable。

At 17 years old， almost 7-foot-tall， strong and with weight and reach in his favour， Dunk is a formidable Hedge Knight。 Essentially， he is a Knight who travels throughout the 7 Kingdoms doing jobs he deems true and honourable for coin。

This book is full of half a heartbeats and clouts to the ears。 Every time I saw some of Georges repeated writing I would literally roll my eyes。 Other than that the book was ok。 If you need more Game of Throne before Winds of Winter and are interested in some old history the book is… alright。
